Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of Gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. They are also close relatives of singing star Dionne Warwick. Her mother and she started singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist, Newark in the year Whitney was just fifteen years old. They performed backing vocals on Chaka Kans' smash hit in 1978 Im Every Woman. She went on to provide back vocals to Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her mother, and also did a brief stint as model on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her singing with New York-based band Material attracted major record labels such as Arista. They signed her with Arista in 1983 where she spent the remainder of her career. The year 1985 saw the debut of Whitney Houston turned out to be the top-selling debut album of all time. Three songs, Saving All My Love To You, What Will I Know When I'm Giving You Good Love, and the Most Beautiful Love of All came from the album. The songs contributed to Houston to achieve seven US top tens that surpassed even The Beatles. The album was sold to three million people in its first year, and 25 million globally. She won her six Grammys for her first time. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the best-selling artists ever. The film, and her performance in it was not popular, however the soundtrack and her rendition of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You charted for several months in the charts, and she sold more than 44 million albums and singles worldwide. The same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She had their sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married on March 23, 1993. Around this time that her much documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was an everyday user.
Dana Bash is also known by the name of Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works as a political correspondent and reporter for CNN. She has also produced certain of the network's Sunday programs such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' Bash has also worked for other well-known networks in recent times such as NBC and CBS. Bash has been awarded numerous awards and was named on the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. Bash is known for her remarkable anchoring skills and her reporting abilities are loved by the younger journalists. Personally, she is a graduate of George Washington University is a loving mother to her sole son. Her marriages have been two but she's now single. Bash who is a strong and independent woman is a lover of her fans wholeheartedly.
