Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963. She was born in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. In her early years she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. At the age of she was 15years old, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother for Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. The singer went on to sing the backing vocals of Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother and worked briefly as models on the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. The singer began her career as a featured vocalist for the band from New York called Material and it was the excellence of her work as a vocalist together that brought the attention of the major record labels, including Arista who signed her in 1983, and with whom she stayed for the rest of her professional career. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album of a debut artist. The album released several hit singles such as Saving All My Love for You How Will You Know That You're a Good Person And The More Love of All. This led to her achieving seven US Top Ones in a row. The singer beat the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies in its initial album's first year of release in the US and then went on to make 25 million copies worldwide, earning her the first of her six Grammys. The Whitney album released in 1987 featuring the tracks I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to continue her popularity. It is The Bodyguard of 1992 that was her breakthrough album and made her one of the top-selling musicians in recent history. Though the movie was not well-received and neither did her performance, but the soundtrack to the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the top of both the albums and singles charts across the US for months. The album sold over 44 million copies. The same year that she gave birth to her daughter Bobbi, Brown married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. In the same year her use of drugs became well documented and she was able to use it regularly by 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political correspondent for CNN. In the past, she has created shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. In terms of awards and honors Bash has been featured in Women in Washington Power List in Elle magazine. A lot of young journalists praise her reporting and anchoring capabilities. In her personal life the graduate from George Washington University is a loving mother to her sole son. She was twice married and currently isn't. Bash one who enjoys being independent and strong, is very fond of her fans. She is an American journalist is able to keep her followers informed about her day-to-day activities through social media sites like Instagram and Twitter.
